ROTR AMF Host Band, Flood Road, plays Americana roots music; folkgrass, if you will, mixing self-penned compositions with alternative versions of rock, bluegrass and folk songs. The trio is comprised of JP Yakel (lead vocals, acoustic guitar), Pete Murphy (upright bass, vocals) and Chris Schultz (banjo, acoustic guitar, vocals). Homegrown music...easy to enjoy...that's Flood Road!

Ramblin Jug Stompers play 78 rpm music for the 21st century: they are the premier jug band of New York's Capital Region! The ramblin style of Bowtie, Cousin Clyde, Mr. Eck and Wild Bill nods to the great tradition of American string band music while winking directly at the classic jug bands of the 60s folk scene. Grab a pint and sit back for an earful of RJS.

Everest Rising Located in New York's Capital Region, Everest Rising is a tightly-knit quartet influenced by folk, jazz, rock and more. Together they create a progressive acoustic sound that is unique yet comfortably familiar. Their innovative instrumental arrangements and thoughtful lyrics take the listener up less-traveled routes. With a wide dynamic range, Everest Rising's material spans from heartfelt laments to all out rave-ups, all executed with instrumental finesse and attention to detail.

The Nellies are an Albany, NY based, rootsy, alt-country, Americana band, grounded by singer-songwriter duo, Karen Ann Gilpin and Peggy Lecuyer, who blend driving rhythms and beautiful two part harmonies to their songs. Gene Lemme keeps The Nellies in line on the upright bass. Joining The Nellies are an assortment of stellar lead players such as Kevin Maul, Mike McMann, and others. The Nellies’ energy is contagious with a fun loving stage presence that will put a smile on your face.

The Red Haired Strangers have forged their sharp original music with solid Country, Blues, & Bluegrass influences. Beginning over 20 years ago as a guitar & harmonica duo, the deep sound of RHS is even more enriched with the addition of fiddle, drums, bass, dobro and pedal steel guitar. A real blast of talent and finesse from start to finish.

Ray Murray & The Bomb Squad sport a contemporary sound featuring original compositions and variations that sit well alongside the music of Dave Mathews and the Beatles, while still maintaining a folksy appeal. Joined by tight harmonies and melodic, sophisticated arrangements, the Bomb Squad is ready to explode the moment they set foot onstage.

Mark Baptiste hails from Delanson, high above the Schoharie Valley, and brings a refreshing mountain voice and acoustic guitar to the Collar City and Brown's. Influences from artists as Simon and Garfunkle, Neil Young, and Bob Dylan, and the Beatles come through in his mix of originals, folk, traditional and Americana songs. Pull up a chair, grab a pint of your favorite Brown's beverage, and settle in for a musical excursion.

MR Poulopoulos brings honest soulful music from the stage to your ears. Sweetly melodic and often melancholy, Poulopoulos’s songs strike a familiar nerve. His guitar playing may invite foot tapping or body sway along the way. His lyrics always tell a story, and provoke moments of introspection, curiosity, amusement and reflection. His influences vary, but their common foundation is American folk and roots music, a nice fit for ROTR AMF.
